The Opportunity

We’re looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial thinker to help us scale Geerd’s presence and impact across Morocco and the region. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, business development, customer success, and strategy - perfect for someone who wants broad exposure to how a B2B SaaS company grows.

You won’t be siloed into one function. Instead, you’ll work across the entire customer journey: helping prospects discover us, supporting sales conversations, ensuring customer success, and building our brand for regional expansion. This is a rare opportunity to touch every part of the business and learn what actually drives growth in EdTech.

You’ll be working directly with our founding team, giving you a front-row seat to company building and the chance to make decisions that shape our trajectory.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Write 2-3 high-quality articles per month in French about digital transformation in education, EdTech trends, and challenges facing Moroccan institutions
  • Transform customer success stories into compelling case studies that demonstrate real impact
  • Create sales collateral including one-pagers, product comparison sheets, and ROI calculators

Thought Leadership

  • Conduct interviews with educators and administrators to understand their challenges and aspirations
  • Position Geerd and our leadership as experts in the EdTech space through LinkedIn and social media content
  • Research and analyze education technology trends in Morocco and across the region

Brand Building

  • Manage our LinkedIn presence and contribute to our social media strategy
  • Develop testimonial and video content showcasing customer success
  • Help shape our voice and messaging as we prepare for regional expansion

Market Intelligence

  • Stay on top of what’s happening in Moroccan and North African education
  • Track competitor positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Provide insights from content performance to inform product and marketing strategy

Who You Are

The Non-Negotiables:

  • Exceptional French writing skills - you can make complex topics accessible and engaging
  • Strong research abilities and intellectual curiosity about education and technology
  • Self-starter mentality - you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate your range and voice

Major Advantages:

  • English writing proficiency
  • Genuine interest in education and its role in society
  • Understanding of B2B content marketing and SEO principles
  • Familiarity with the Moroccan education system or EdTech sector
  • Experience with LinkedIn, content management systems, or basic design tools

  • You’re naturally curious about market dynamics and competitive positioning
  • You can interview a university administrator and turn that conversation into a story
  • You don’t need detailed instructions - you can figure things out
  • You’re equally comfortable writing a thought leadership piece and a tactical product comparison
  • You have strong opinions, loosely held
  • You see EdTech as more than just software - you understand the human and social impact

Why This Internship is Different

What Success Looks Like

After 6 months, you will have:

  • Built relationships with key customers and turned their success into case studies
  • Published 15-20 articles that position Geerd as a thought leader in EdTech
  • Created 5+ customer case studies that our sales team actively uses
  • Built Geerd’s LinkedIn presence from the ground up
  • Developed a deep understanding of our market, competitors, and opportunities
  • Earned a full-time offer to continue growing with us
  • Established Geerd as a recognized voice in Moroccan EdTech through content and thought leadership

The Details

  • Duration: 6-month paid internship with evaluation for full-time conversion at month 5
  • Location: Remote
  • Start Date: Flexible, ideally within the next 4-6 weeks
  • Commitment: Full-time

  • OR create a mock LinkedIn post announcing a Geerd customer success story (you can make up the details)
  • OR outline a go-to-market strategy for expanding EasyClass into one specific North African country
